Problem

Critical logic is buried in XML mappings, lookups, and change data capture rules. A manual rewrite consumes scarce specialists and risks changing how the business calculates its results.

Solution

Genesis parses the mapping, reconstructs its transformations, and converts the work into a PySpark notebook on Databricks Unity Catalog. Validation and a governed Delta target are part of the workflow.

Problem

Moving tables is only part of the migration. Derived views, T-SQL behavior, data types, and downstream dependencies can change the numbers the business relies on.

Solution

Genesis discovers the schema, plans dependencies and rollback, converts the dialect, and runs the migration. A separate validator compares code logic and data results before your team decides on cutover.

SQL Server workloads migrated through Genesis to Snowflake, including 43 tables, 27 views, T-SQL conversion, and 25 BIT columns. Prover independently compares code logic and data results and reports a conditional pass for human review before cutover.

Vendor CSV feeds to a Databricks lakehouse

Problem

Holdings, identifiers, market data, and ESG feeds arrive separately. Manual joins and reconciliation slow portfolio analysis and make each new feed another operational dependency.

Solution

Genesis builds a Bronze, Silver, and Gold pipeline in Unity Catalog. It validates schemas, adds audit columns, deduplicates and joins the feeds, and delivers portfolio metrics with a working dashboard.

Four vendor CSV feeds migrated through Genesis into a governed Databricks lakehouse. Bronze, Silver, and Gold stages produce 48 portfolio positions across 39 columns and a portfolio dashboard. Dashboard charts are schematic.
Each layer has a clear job: retain the raw evidence, reconcile the inputs, and produce business-ready portfolio data.
